I read your story, Ruth
I read your story, Ruth, and I want you to know that we are getting to a place where no one will have to experience what you did. There is still alot of work to be done, but it has taken sacrifices like yours and the realization by those outside our community that we will stand up for ourselves, we will take care of ourselves, and we will overcome. Stepping back does not signal the end of the conversation, but only that the conversation will continue in a new light.
